AutoQuotes allows users to export of project data by utilizing predefined export templates or a custom export template that they create. This data can then be imported into their ERP or other backend systems.
The export parameters must be set up by the admin user at a company prior to the users exporting project data. Once configured the settings are company-wide and will be applied to all users.
To configure the export settings for your company the admin user must first click the 'Admin Settings' tab at the bottom of the application window.
Once the 'Admin Settings' tab is open click the 'Company Settings' button in the ribbon.
After the 'Company Settings' window opens click the 'Export' tab to access the export options. In this panel you can select an 'Accounting Export' template, an 'Export Path', 'Post-Export Process', & other export preferences. Once you have selected your export template & settings click 'OK'.
To export a project using your new settings, first open a project to the project spreadsheet. Now click the 'Export/Import' tab at the top of the window. Then click the 'Accounting Export' button in the ribbon at the top of the page. When clicking on the button your project will be exported using the template selected. You should see the name of the selected template within the button.
If you selected multiple templates in 'Admin Settings' & wish to switch to another template when exporting the project simply click the down arrow at the bottom of the button to select the template.
